Homegrown Creations, L.L.C., is a small ceramic shop in Blanchester Ohio. I have been enjoying the hobby of ceramics for 20 years. I have a certification in Duncan Ceramics and in Seeley Stoneware. I pour every order myself. I hand pour and clean each piece with care and pride as I would if I were making it for myself to paint. I take the time to put the detail back into every piece I clean. Some of the molds we have are old and the detail is worn away, so I place the detail back into those pieces. I place each piece into the kiln taking into consideration the different uses and painting techniques that you may choose to finish that piece. I am always pleased to have our customers contact me to express how happy they are with the detail work I have done to the piece they have chosen to purchase from us.
We also have a store front shop where you may "walk-in" and browse to purchase our items off of the shelf. We manufacture and distribute our earthenware casting slip in our shop. We purchase American-made raw materials to produce our High-Quality casting slip.
We created our website to contribute to keeping the ceramic hobby alive. With so many ceramic pieces imported into our country these days, many people have forgotten or lost touch with the quality put into a hand-made ceramic piece. It is important that the art of hobby ceramics stay strong and thriving commodity in our economy. Our website is not designed to draw individuals away from their local Hobby Ceramic Shop, but as an alternative for selection and to provide for those who do not have a local Hobby Ceramic Shop in their area. So with that in mind, we created a website for all who enjoy hobby ceramics.
